I have just checked the Wycliffe website regarding the Head Race on Saturday 4th December.
I spoke with the organiser earlier today and discussed the weather situation and travel restrictions facing DTARC in particular.
A decision has now been taken by Wycliffe Head organising committee that the Head Race is CANCELLED. There will be a full refund being made in due course.
